What does it mean to be face-to-face with the One who created you in His image and loves you completely?
As we explore the book of Exodus this season, we will witness the remarkable ways God engages with and leads His people. Imagine encountering Him with the same awe and reverence that Moses experienced. From the burning bush to the mountaintop, Moses’ face literally shone from being in the divine presence—a constant invitation into a deeper revelation of God’s power and purpose. As we set aside this time to retreat, may we come to truly know and stand in His presence: fully safe as His children, yet entirely captivated by His holiness. You are chosen, fully known, and deeply loved.

Details: We’re excited to dedicate this two-night retreat to exploring what it means to come ‘face to face’ with God, to know Him and allow ourselves to be known by Him. To seek His presence and be refreshed as a community- as we get this unhurried time to grow deeper in our relationships with God and with one another! You’re invited to receive beautiful moments of teaching, worship, prayer, and play, allowing space within the weekend to apply all we are learning and hearing from God. We hope and pray you can join in this set-apart time.

Because the CityLights Retreat is a big deal! :) Amidst our hurried lives, rarely do we get unhurried, extended, intentional time together. Time to play, pray, receive, rest, enjoy, unite, encourage - to be family, to be with Christ - together. This is a time worth investing in and open to our whole church community.

Location Details:
Nestled in the forest of the Fraser Canyon, Camp Squeah is the perfect place to draw near to God and be refreshed. Enjoy the tranquility of their grounds while breathing in the fresh mountain air.
Accommodation:
Rooms are hotel-style with private bathrooms. Please note that all rooms are double occupancy or family-sized rooms. Married couples and families will automatically be assigned to the same room. However, if you are single and would like to have a room of your own, you can select that add-on with your registration.
Childcare:
There will be a fun, age-appropriate kids program offered throughout the weekend so parents can be free to engage in all the opportunities. The childcare providers will be from other communities (not CityLights). More information to come. Parents are invited to bring monitors for their kids to put them down in the room and then join for games and snacks at night.
Costs:
Registration covers accommodations, food, and general retreat costs. Bedding, towels, toiletries, and snacks aren't provided so please pack those with you.

We would love for you and your family to join us and don’t want finances to be a barrier. There is some financial support available so please reach out to let us know.
