CITYLIGHTS Vision

Our vision is gospel lights, everywhere.

Ordinary people joining Jesus in saturating Greater Vancouver because Jesus loves everyone, everywhere.

Jesus is working to “fill all in all” (Ephesians 1:21).  He wants to fill more than a building, he wants to fill a city, fill a world. Jesus saturation. Gospel saturation.  His vision is bigger than one church and won’t be fulfilled until his kingdom comes in fullness but we want to join in his ministry and mission.  

We want to do our part to see gospel lights, everywhere.

Our region has over 3,000,000 people within a two-hour drive from Whistler to Hope. Even if 1000 churches miraculously grew to 1000 people, there would still be over 1,700,000 people not yet following Jesus.  The city isn’t coming to church, how can the church go to the city?

Imagine a gospel light on every block and building, and a gospel community shining bright in every relational network so that all people experience Jesus.

We want to be a part of this. 

We want to join Jesus.

CityLights is developing as a collective of missional communities.

What is a disciple?

Jesus’ purpose is to fill all in all and make all things new. Gospel Saturation. His work continues through his body the church.  He has commissioned his followers to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).  Disciple multiplication is Jesus’ plan.

What is a disciple? How do you know if you are joining Jesus and making disciples? These are good questions to ask.

We want to help you join Jesus and make disciples in your everyday life.
